Origin of your name

once we found out you were a little girl, i decided i wanted to name you already so that we could refer to you with your name.
after a talk with daddy, we discovered i wanted a name that wasnt heard very often, and daddy wanted something normal, and not too out there with normal spelling.

your middle name 'Pamela' comes from your Great Grandma Pamela Yvonne Gardiner who died in 2000, from cancer. ever since she died, mummy has had her heart set on using Pamela as a middle name for her first daughter.

one night i sat down with a baby book, and wrote down the names i liked. then in the ads of the tv show daddy was watching, i would read them to him and he would say yes or no as to weather he liked them or not.

we got it down to a list of a few names. jamie, chloe, hayley and jasmine were the last names we could agree on.

i then wrote all these names down with the mixture of middle names (we were deciding weather you would have 1 or 2 middle names), and i handed the book to daddy again.
he looked at them, and circled one, wrote something next to it and handed it back to me.

he had circled "Jasmine Pamela", and wrote 'now leave me alone'! :-)

and this my girl, is how you were named!

we did have a few boys names we liked in case you were a boy. some of these included: lucas, jamie, riley and nathaniel.

the origin of your name is 'persian' and the meaning is 'Jasmine flower, A gift from God'.
